#30: A Wind Gust With Perfect Aim
Strong winds can cause serious damage even without a major storm. One powerful gust knocked over a metal lamppost right where a man had parked his car. By sheer luck, the post landed just inches away from the vehicle. Any closer and the hood would have been crushed.
The photo makes it look like the lamppost fell with incredible precision. It is hard not to feel grateful in situations like this. When something heavy collapses that close to your car, you cannot help thinking that luck stepped in at the last moment.
