#25: A Tree With Good Manners
When trees fall, they usually leave destruction behind. But this one must have been feeling gracious. A rotted tree finally gave way and collapsed onto a busy winter street. Miraculously, it fell directly between two parked cars without touching either one.
Considering how wide tree trunks can be, this was an incredibly narrow escape. A shift of just a few inches in either direction would have left someone dealing with a crushed roof or a smashed windshield. Instead, the tree managed to topple with unbelievable precision. If trees had personalities, this one would be the polite neighbor who refuses to inconvenience anyone.
