#17: The Fall That Spared Two Cars
Life can shift in an instant, and this picture shows just how narrowly disaster can be avoided. A tall light pole toppled over in a parking lot and came crashing down between two parked vehicles. The pole landed so precisely in the middle that it is hard to believe it was not placed there intentionally.
If it had tipped slightly to the left or right, one of the cars would have suffered major damage. You can see how closely it grazed one truck, making the lucky escape even more unbelievable. Both car owners avoided a costly repair bill thanks to sheer chance. Sometimes luck shows up in the most unexpected ways.
