37. Smoke and steam patterns!

You can try to take a photo with smoke or steam in many situations. One of the most convenient ways is to make use of your kitchen. The stream often comes from cooking, your freshly made coffee cup or even newly cooked meals out of the oven can provide such visual. There is also the smoke of lighting a candle you could try. Moreover, the shower door in your bathroom could be a good steamy background that you can use.

Intense neutral light and a super clean surface are the best way to capture smoke or steam on a camera. Remember that the top light we often see in other photography videos will not work in this case! Think about which props you want to use in your shot and their colors to archive a good result. If you want to capture steam or smoke movement, try it with a fan.
