For this type of photos, take numerous shots of your antique furniture, jewelry, watches, in diverse compositions. When you have the correct picture, try aligning them differently. Your photo editing app will help you change the photo color to the proper filters and saturation levels you might be looking for. Imperfections are not evil; they're part of the product!
One thing to note for this: most images in this case should have the exact vertical and horizontal axes in classic compositions, so keep that in mind if you are trying to reproduce pictures that can be deemed 'traditional style'. If not, you can always mess around until the image looks right for you. If this is just for fun, you do not need to adopt the old unconventional ways!
