Pick a window that overlooks the scenery, then mist the outside with a spray bottle. Wait for the lights to hit and catch the right moment. If it was raining, you can take the chance after it ends and take your camera and get to work.
Of course, you can take various photos of scenes that you prefer. They could be a remembrance that is important to you, like the sunset or sunrise, perhaps using Christmas lights as dusk? Honestly, it would be fine too if the backdrop is not fully visible. Just the glimpses that we see in the scene could be good enough to draw people's attention in.
