Moving further from the sea, the Outer Hebrides are a group of islands off Scotland's coast. Red deer, golden eagles, otters, whales, and dolphins can all be seen in this area, which appears to be teeming with more wildlife than humans. Even when you arrive, you will be awestruck by the scenery: the airport is one of the few in the world that lands on a beach.

Aside from hopping from island to island, the Eilean Chaluim Chille is a lovely church worth visiting. Ensay, one of the islands, is uninhabited but can still be seen, as most visitors do, because of the chapel and burial grounds on the island.
