9. Built-In Seat for Children's Closet
Nearly everybody has heard of a children's window box seat to curl up and read a book. Creating a built-in seat as an extension of the child's wardrobe is one brilliant IKEA hack you may not have thought of. They can sit or lie on top of it wholly extended while they are little. And it can become a perfect spot for them to sit down and try on sneakers when they get older or set down their backpack as they get home from school.
