For over $3,000, Repair Hardware offers open shelving. Even a more affordable version is still in the $1,000 range from somewhere like Arhaus. So one creative blogger called As the Deer found out that for a fraction of the price, they could turn IKEA Vittsjo shelves. It was all made to replace the glass with wooden racks, and it looks like something much more expensive than $80. Of course, you could easily stack side-by-side and build an entire wall of industrial storage if you chose a larger shelving unit.
