27. The Most Popular Ikea Chair
In high-end furniture shops, some of you might have seen woven leather chairs selling for hundreds of dollars. A book called 99 Hacks was written by a Swedish author named Monica Karlstein. One of her projects was removing the cushions and covering the Ikea Poang chair with woven fabric strips. The Poang chair costs $79 if it is brand new. Any of you may have seen woven leather chairs in high-end furniture stores selling for hundreds of dollars. It will be over $100 to $150 to complete the project with additional materials unless you already own a chair at home, which will make it a much cheaper hack. Personally, because I have held my Poang for ten years, I intend to do this one, and it is overdue for a makeover.
