Gene Tierney
While not a household name, Gene Tierney left an indelible mark on Hollywood history. Best known for her role in "Laura," her outstanding performance in the 1945 film "Leave Her to Heaven" garnered her an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress.
Tierney's final film role was "The Pleasure Seekers" in 1964. In the following decades, she appeared on several T.V. shows before passing in 1971.
