If you have a bathroom pantry or wardrobe, odds are it isn't incredibly sexy. This is particularly true once you move into an apartment complex that it constructed decades ago. Since the shelving is typically made of particle board or metal wires, you cannot stack too much on it for fear of it cracking. Wire shelving is often inconvenient to use, and keeping products straight is hard. A quick and convenient way to upgrade your shelving is to use contact paper on a Dollar Tree styrofoam surface. You can easily uninstall it as you're about to leave. Watch the video on Do It On a Dime for step-by-step instructions.

It should only cost $2 to complete the hack I just described. This is suitable for tenants who will only need the DIY shelves for a year or two. However, it is not a long-term solution to the problem. If you're a homeowner, you could go the extra mile and replace your pantry shelving with natural wood. The requires some carpentry skills, but it is inexpensive and advantageous until completed. If you're remodeling your bathroom, you may want to try adding wallpaper in the bathroom closet between the cabinets. There is a brilliant way to incorporate a splash of color.
