You either take a bath or take a shower. Bathe enthusiasts enjoy soaking in the pool with some bubbles, a scented candle, a bottle of wine, and a good read. If this describes you (or someone you aspire to be), keep this in mind as you remodel your bathroom. There's a good chance that there's an accessory or piece of furniture out there that can help you relax while taking a bath. You may, for example, like an end table that is the same height as the bathtub so that you can set your wine and book down. You may also use one of those wooden trays that span the bathtub.
Lighting, color scheme, and accessories can all tailor to match the atmosphere you want to create in the room. Darker, sultry shades evoke feelings of romance and relaxation. If you're going to unwind for the evening, this is ideal. Bright, soothing colors, on the other hand, make perfect sense if you want to concentrate on feeling awake in the morning as you take your shower.
