9. Peel-and-stick Tiles

When you live in an apartment, it may seem almost challenging to renovate your toilet. All are scared that if they do anything too dramatic and potentially permanent, they will lose their security deposit. Thankfully, peel and stick tiles are available, and they are suitable for renters. These can be set down on any existing bathroom tiles and quickly cleaned when you step out. It's a perfect way to give your floor a splash of color right away or to make your walls more waterproof.

Check out The Lone Fox's bathroom makeover footage if you're waiting for any ideas. In his mother's toilet, he used peel-and-stick tiles on both the floor and the wall. Each box of tiles costs about $50, bringing the total cost to $100 for two different tiles in the space. The best thing about this DIY project was that he finished it in one weekend, and you can, too.
