15. Give the Light of Nature
Find out a way to add natural light to your bathroom, if at all possible. Often, you could replace a heavy curtain with sheer drapes. You may also cover the curtains entirely and place a frosty sticker on the window to make sure your neighbors cannot look in.
There will be several times when, unless you replace a window, it's impossible to get any more light than you currently have, which can be well over $100. Try to go for lighter paint colors in that situation, or substitute light bulbs for bright white LED bulbs that will help you see better in the morning when you get up.
