Step 13: Measure, Mark, and Cut the Roof for DIY dog house
Place one of the plywood boards around the roofline on top of the house. Find an overhang that looks right for you. Don't stress about trying different settings for a while or even going back and forth to see which one fits well; don't think through the process! Next, mark the plank to that size so you can cut it in place with your circular saw.
Cut the same measurements on another plywood board, so you have two complete sides to form the roof. Your next step is to nail both sides to your canine to create a shelter. Now take a moment to see, we are sure you might be surprised!
