9. Wooden Furniture
It's sporadic to find real wood furniture in American homes anymore in the age of Ikea college kids. So many people think it's cheaper and more covenant to get things made of particleboard. But in the UK, you'll still find mostly wooden furniture, as it manufactured to last for hundreds of years. People often go to charity stores or auctions and pick up meaningful furniture that lasts a lifetime. The same thing can do in the US! Check your local thrift store or auction house. Even if a piece looks scratched or worn, you can still rub the wood and cover it with a new layer of wood stain or paint, and it can last for life and be passed on to others as you move on.
