10. Ivy mountain climbing
Ivy is one of the most iconic things about an English house. We rarely see it in the US unless you're visiting an Ivy Ivy League school like Princeton or Harvard, where buildings look like castles. Although many of us enjoy seeing it, we rarely see ivy climbing houses in the US. This is because ivy vines will only grow in cracks of a stone or mortar house. It can take decades for the ivy to grow large enough to cover the entire house. But if you want this look on your own home, you'll want to buy some ivy from the center of your local garden, as well as a climbing rig.
