20. Heater
Most homes have fireplaces throughout the UK. It has long associated with much of the history of English houses. In some larger stately homes, each bedroom has its fireplace so people can stay warm at night. Even when modern Brits have upgraded to using radiators, there is usually at least one indoor heater. In the US, it is unlikely that you will find a fireplace in your home. And even if there was a chimney or wood stove, sometimes they still removed them to support the HVAC system. If you want a quintessential British appearance, you may want to get a fake fireplace or fake wood burner. Even if they don't burn the wood, they still act as an electric fireplace.
