21. What do they have against the elderly?
"My parents moved to a neighborhood over 55 years old (even though they weren't 55 yet) with HOA. The board is full of elders with not much to do. My 80-year-old grandmother lives in the same house as my parents. They decided to add a railing for the front steps to make it easier for my grandma to get to them. Its metal material consists of white bars at the top and bottom while the black bars up and down hold it up.
"HOA claims my parents didn't make this clear in the plan's proposal and force them to take it down or face a penalty. My parents had to repaint it all in one color because my grandmother needed help going up the stairs. They denied it, saying the document was incorrect and that they had to delete it to avoid a fine." - Crosmyheart's Flower Story.
