18. UPS can't even beat these furious HOA representatives.
"Our HOA's president was a typical retired military man who enjoyed commanding people about. He would go around the neighborhood with a video camera, harassing folks who were too afraid to defend themselves. To him, every prospective infraction, no matter how minor, was a major personal affront. They even took UPS to court because the trucks were parked on the wrong side of the allocated parking place for guest vehicles. The delivery trucks, yes, are larger than the Honda Fit-sized parking spaces.
"The driveway at our condo was extremely narrow. I am talking about 3 feet here. It was against the rules to wash your automobile on the street. If I positioned it right, I could park some of my tiny cars outside to keep the water off the garage items. The bumper, it turns out, was about 1/2 inch over the cursors.
