The accent wall has mostly seen its top. While a well-placed accent wall can still be on-trend, the more forward-looking 2021 theme is spreading accents throughout the room. Why should a fence be all the fun? Between mixing metallic finishes, including bold splashes of color, incorporating beautiful natural elements, and going with the flow of curved designs, there are plenty of significant trends to choose from in 2021 that no part of the room is limited to incorporating accents. Play around with your entire space, and don't force yourself to express yourself on a tiny wall.
