2. Rooms that are gender-neutral
Finally, the "man cave" era could be coming to an end! Gender has been a defining characteristic of home decoration for far too long, from children's rooms to adult hobby spaces. Pink princess palaces for girls and blue adventure dens for boys are (hopefully) quickly becoming obsolete. For non-gendered children's rooms, yellows, oranges, greens, and neutrals are becoming increasingly common. Many toy stores are already defying gender-neutral aisles, and more home decor trends are likely to follow suit. Adults are abandoning the man cave trend in favor of more family and couple-friendly shared living spaces.
