15. Kitchen Floors That Are Simple
When a kitchen has a stunning, opulent backsplash, it's a good idea to keep the floors simple and let the backsplash do the talking. Many kitchens have featured bold floors in recent years, especially Terrazzo Tile, which can, let's face it, start to look like an elementary school cafeteria if color choices aren't carefully considered. Simple neutral tiles are much more flexible in 2021, allowing a designer to experiment with bursts of color, exciting textures, and line work in other areas of the kitchen. Bamboo and certain types of stone, both renewable and ethically sourced, will be all the rage, particularly in neutral, simple colors and patterns.
