Larry Hankin as Officer Balzak
Officer Balzak is perhaps one of the most humorously named characters in Home Alone. The lieutenant's primary role in the movie was to answer a call from another officer on line 2 and speak to Kate about Kevin. However, he peppered their conversation with numerous irrelevant questions that would frustrate anyone.
Throughout the serious conversation, he casually munched on a chocolate donut, even dropping some of it on the phone's handpiece. He eventually gave up on Kate by transferring her call, revealing his rather irresponsible demeanor. Unfortunately, Officer Balzak did not appear in any Home Alone sequels.
