Linnie, the third child in the McCallister family, had her memorable moments in the chaos before their trip to France. She expressed her hope to her brother Jeff that he hadn't packed a bunch of junk. Turning to Kevin, she casually mentioned that their mother would bring a suitcase for him anyway, adding the tongue-in-cheek remark that he's what the French call "Les incompetents."
After the family departed for France and the realization that Kevin was alone struck, Linnie sought refuge at Uncle Rob's Home. At the same time, her mother desperately tried to reach Kevin from the airport. She eventually returned to their home on Christmas Day and even commended Kevin for procuring some milk.
