Margot Robbie / Mary Queen of Scots

Holy transformation, Batman! Margot Robbie looked different from Queen Elizabeth I in Mary Queen of Scots. It took four long hours to get her into character every day. First, they had to wrap her hair and put on a bald cap and a wig. They used prosthetics to recreate the smallpox scars on Queen Elizabeth's face and even changed her nose shape. The makeup designer, Jenny Shircore, got creative with placing the scars.

Who knew you could use makeup to turn someone into a different historical figure? Margot Robbie's stunning transformation into Queen Elizabeth I was a testament to the power of makeup and prosthetics in bringing a character to life. The meticulous attention to detail, from the hair and wig to the facial scars, showcased the dedication of both the actress and the makeup team in creating a convincing historical portrayal.
