Did you know that the special effects makeup for Beast in "X-Men: First Class" was crafted by Studio ADI? The makeup artist, Alec Gillis, aimed to create a lion-like appearance for the character, a departure from Kelsey Grammer's portrayal in the original trilogy. To achieve this lifelike transformation, they opted for fur instead of hair and incorporated feline textures to make Beast appear more feral. Additionally, post-production work involved adding warm tones to the skin to reduce its monochromatic appearance.
