Afshan Azad – Now
Following her role as Padma Patil in the Harry Potter series, Afshan Azad formed lasting friendships with some of her co-stars. She mentioned in interviews that Bonnie Wright, Katie Leung, Evanna Lynch, and Scarlett Byrne are among her closest friends.
Despite not being related in real life, Azad shared a close bond with her on-screen twin sister, Shefali Chowdhury. At 22, Azad faced a traumatic incident when her brother and father attacked her due to her relationship with a non-Muslim man.
