While Rubeus Hagrid was the initial half-giant character introduced in Harry Potter, the second half-giant was the headmistress of Beauxbatons Academy of Magic, Olympe Maxime.
Hagrid went to great lengths to impress Olympe, tidying his hair, donning his finest attire, and even revealing the secret of the Triwizard dragons. However, Maxime adamantly denied being a half-giant despite her towering stature and attributed her size to simply being "big-boned." Later, Maxime and Hagrid embarked on a European tour to dissuade the giants from aligning with Voldemort's forces.
