We didn't anticipate encountering so many works of art on this list (in fact, we didn't expect any), but it's a delightful surprise. "The Son of Man" is another famous painting that needs little explanation; even if you're unfamiliar with the artist or its origin, you've likely seen it before.
"The Son of Man" is the most renowned work of surrealist painter René Magritte. It has inspired numerous tributes, recreations, and references over the years, both in pop culture and, as it turns out, Halloween costumes. This individual flawlessly recreated the painting, complete with the bowler hat, suit with the red tie, background clouds, and, of course, the iconic green apple.
