The Wizard of Oz
While no one can truly rival Judy Garland, the original actress who brought Dorothy Gale to life in the 1939 classic "The Wizard of Oz," this girl certainly comes close. She embodies the character's appearance and even has the perfect canine companion, making it seem fate decreed her transformation into Dorothy for Halloween. It wouldn't surprise us if she donned this costume more than once.
Dorothy and her loyal companion, Toto, form another famous literary pair distinct from Tweedledee and Tweedledum. The only element missing from the photo is the yellow brick road, but perhaps the brick houses nearby were the closest substitutes she could find. Her dedication deserves recognition.
