Tweedledee and Tweedledum
We're all acquainted with the iconic pair of Tweedledee and Tweedledum, who first made their literary debut in 1871. While most people associate them with "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland," these portly characters originally appeared in Lewis Carroll's 1871 sequel, "Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There."
Regardless of their origins, this whimsical duo has grown immensely popular. Tweedledee and Tweedledum have become synonymous with any couple who resemble one another in appearance and behavior. As you can see, they've become a favored choice for Halloween costumes. While it may not be the most innovative costume, the execution is nearly flawless, and any nod to literature is always appreciated.
