Donna Summer
Donna Summer was the ultimate “bad girl” of her time, born LaDonna Adrian Gaines and one of seven children in her family. Summer began performing at the tender age of eight after replacing a vocalist at a local church; at that moment, a star was born. She pursued an education in the field of music and joined the Crow tour weeks before her graduation. Summer passed away in 2012 after suffering from lung cancer.
