Jennifer and Dan Gilbert
The serendipitous connection between Jennifer Gilbert, an accomplished interior designer, and Dan Gilbert, co-founder of Quicken Loans, unfolded when she was entrusted with designing his office. The alignment of destiny is striking, indeed. Jennifer temporarily paused her professional pursuits upon the arrival of their five children, only to reimmerse herself when the youngest entered preschool.
In addition to her design acumen, Jennifer Gilbert ventured into creating Doodle Home, an online interior design resource established in 2010. Subsequently, she founded Amber Engine, a home furnishings enterprise in Detroit, in 2015. The couple's joint commitment led to establishing the Gilbert Family Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to combating neurofibromatosis, a condition affecting one of their children.
