A Regrettable Miscommunication
Note to self: refrain from asking a male employee for a specific brand of menstrual product. I'll opt for the "feminine hygiene" section in the future, as I can only imagine how bewildering their response might be. I doubted I'd be able to function for at least five minutes while I tried to comprehend what he thought we do in the restroom.
Props to the dad for sharing this story with his daughter. I bet he was even more embarrassed than the woman who asked him. Additionally, he might have worked in a hardware store, and in that case, it's on her to expect to find Tampax on one of the store's shelves.
