Perhaps this individual was so rushed to catch his flight that he didn't have time to consider a more efficient way to transport his luggage. The small suitcase wheels may have given out halfway to the airport, forcing him to hail a taxi anyway. At least he had an entertaining story to share with others once he finally arrived at his destination. We can only hope for the best.
