Lauren Sesselmann
Lauren Sesselmann, hailing from Green Bay, Wisconsin, commenced her soccer journey at Purdue University, where she competed at the collegiate level. Initially, her career showed promise, prompting her decision to leverage her father's heritage in order to obtain Canadian citizenship.
Realizing that her chances of being selected for the already talented US national team were slim, Sesselmann made a pivotal choice to join the Canadian team. This decision led her to achieve remarkable milestones, including a bronze medal at the 2012 Olympics and participation in the 2015 Women's World Cup.
