#31: Test of Loyalty

Working for government agencies like the CIA or the FBI is not for everyone. The level of security and confidentiality required in these agencies is of the utmost importance and any breach can have severe consequences. To ensure that all employees are up to the task, these agencies often conduct surprise drills and tests to evaluate their workers.

One such test is the fake fire drill. During these drills, superiors will assess how employees respond to an emergency situation and if they follow the proper protocols, such as locking their computer and workstation before leaving the building. Any employee found to be neglecting these procedures is immediately terminated as the information they handle is of the highest level of sensitivity and confidentiality. It may seem harsh, but the security of top-secret information is non-negotiable in these organizations.
