#10 FBI and CIA Have Different Agendas
The FBI and the CIA are two of the most well-known government agencies in the United States. Despite their close association in the public mind, they are, in reality, very different organizations with distinct mandates and responsibilities. However, even though they deal with different things, there are times when these two agencies need to work together. Unfortunately, the relationship between the FBI and the CIA is not always smooth. It seems that the CIA is not always willing to share information with the FBI, even though cooperation between the two agencies is crucial in many cases.
Many people view the FBI and the CIA as being similar, cut from the same cloth. In reality, the FBI is primarily responsible for enforcing federal laws and investigating federal crimes, while the CIA is focused on intelligence gathering and analysis. Despite these differences, there are times when their paths intersect, and they must work together to achieve their goals. When this happens, the CIA's reluctance to share information with the FBI can create friction and hamper the agencies' ability to work together effectively.
