In 2003's "2 Fast 2 Furious," Tyrese Gibson made his debut as Roman Pearce, Brian's childhood friend and ex-con speedster, in the Fast and Furious franchise. When Brian, Mia, and Dominic Toretto reached out to Roman, he traveled to Rio de Janeiro.
Hired for his "fast-talking" skills, Roman joins the mission to steal $100 million from a corrupt Brazilian businessman. Initially hesitant, he becomes fully committed after learning the staggering amount involved and his potential cut of just over $11 million.
