In "Fast Five" (2011), Elsa Pataky debuted as Brazilian patrol officer Elena Neves, who briefly romances Dom before joining Hobbs at the D.S.S. She appeared in the next three films but tragically passed away in "The Fate of the Furious" (2017).
Before her passing, one of Elena's notable moments was supporting Dominic Toretto's team in stealing $100 million from corrupt lawmaker Hernan Reyes. She later became good friends with Dominic before he relocated to Los Angeles to work with Hobbs.
