Photographing Military Personnel is Against the Law
In Cuba, capturing images of military, police, or airport personnel is strictly forbidden. Law enforcement presence may be sporadic, so exercising caution when in their vicinity can help avoid any unwelcome suspicions of espionage or unpleasant encounters with the authorities.
However, you are generally free to document almost anything in Cuba beyond government buildings and military personnel. Cubans are often enthusiastic subjects for your most memorable photographs.
