The Uniqueness of Cuban Cigars
Cuban cigars are renowned for being among the finest tobacco products globally, with some shipments of high-quality Habanos fetching thousands of dollars. Each hand-rolled Cuban cigar undergoes approximately 500 manual tasks, from seed to the finished cigar.
Before signing trade restrictions, President John F. Kennedy acquired 1,200 Cuban cigars for himself. In a 1992 post, President Kennedy's press secretary Pierre Salinger recounted JFK's request for "Only 1,000 Petit Upmanns" to be delivered by the following day.
