Unfortunately, Her character, Isis, had the unique ability to transform into a black cat when she wasn't on screen. Both Isis' forms shared the same distinctive diamond collar, adding a touch of continuity to her character's appearance. During the filming of these episodes, the production team used three identical-looking cats to portray Isis, ensuring a seamless transition between her human and feline forms. The character played a central role in a 1960s mission aimed at preventing a nuclear missile from being launched.
Victoria Vetri's portrayal of Isis in Star Trek was just one facet of her career. Beyond her brief stint on the show, Vetri had a successful modeling career and even posed for Playboy magazine, earning the coveted title of Playmate Of The Year. Additionally, she had a notable role in one of the most famous horror films, "Rosemary's Baby." However, in 2010, her life took a tumultuous turn when law enforcement arrested her and charged her with attempted murder for firing a weapon at her husband from close range. Subsequently, in 2011, the legal authorities reduced the charge to attempted voluntary manslaughter, and Vetri pleaded no contest, which led to her receiving a nine-year prison sentence.
