Marina Sirtis, an English-born actress, is most prominently known among Star Trek enthusiasts for her portrayal of Counselor Deanna Troi in Star Trek: The Next Generation. Her character, Deanna Troi, was a unique blend of half-human and half-Betazoid heritage, serving as a counselor aboard the U.S.S.
Enterprise-D. Interestingly, during the audition process, Sirtis and Denise Crosby, who played Tasha Yar, tried out for each other's eventual roles.
