25. Avoid moisture by tiling from floor to ceiling
In our home, what could be worse than finding water on the floor long after taking a bath or shower? However, Japanese home bathroom is built differently. If you pay more attention, you would find that the room is often tiled everywhere, from the ceiling to the floor. Furthermore, the door is also sealed completely to prevent moisture from getting out. Many Japanese used to take a shower to get themself clean before soaking in the tub for relaxation. As a result, the bathroom also comes with a drain in the center to filter any water splashes. What about the toilets and sink vanities? They do have a separate room for that, completely dry.
