Everything about weddings is expensive. If you're throwing the wedding, you're paying for food, flowers, dresses, and so much more. If you're a guest, you have to find an outfit, pay for transportation and lodging, and get the couple a gift.
Most weddings don't have a minimum spend requirement, but it seems there's a first time for everything. We bet this was an expensive destination wedding, too. We doubt they've actually got "SOOOOOO MUCH" people who have confirmed.
