6. Family Room
The living room in Graceland is on the right side of the house, facing south. The living room's decor was previously more formal than it is now. Elvis was influenced by Baroque design and had the chamber furnished in Louis XIV style. He wanted his house to resemble Memphis, Tennessee's Palace of Versailles.
The living area now features a 15-foot white sofa, a white marble fireplace, and numerous mirrors. The mirrors were placed to give the impression that the room was much larger than it was. You can also find gold accent paint and decor throughout Graceland's cozy living area. Guests may see directly into Elvis' cherished Music Room from the living room.
