13. Second Floor
Graceland's second level was unmistakably Elvis Presley's territory. Only a small handful of persons were allowed to go upstairs during his time at the mansion. The top floor is still roped off, and no tour groups are allowed to go there. The upstairs floor has remained unchanged since Elvis' death.
The southwest corner of Graceland's second story holds Elvis' bedroom, dressing room, and bathroom. His daughter Lisa Marie's room is in the northeast corner, while a bedroom in the southeast corner was designated as Elvis' office. Out of respect for the Presley family and to avoid any unwanted attention to the bathroom where Elvis Presley died, the second floor of Graceland will permanently be closed to guests.
